He is a serious businessman and has a track record of success, creating innovation and predicting the upcoming future of advancement in technology.

Ami Shafrir – Journey of Life

Ami started when he was a 10-year-old kid. At that time, he was already building electronic gadgets, and at the age of 15, he had manufactured his mass-produced electronic products. He had served 4 years in the Israeli military specializing in telecommunications. And when he was in his mid-20s, he had become a master of cellular communications. He had already predicted that the world was soon going to become wireless.

In 1996, he predicted that the whole world would be going on the Internet, including institutes and financial transactions. Also, in 1996, he predicted that the newly created payment platform by him would become the new Internet currency. He predicted the cryptocurrency thirteen years ahead of time. All of his predictions have proven right and have become a reality. The living proof for this is the world today. Now we all live in a world based on cellular devices (ruling almost everything that we do) and electronics (ruling almost every possible section of the livelihood.)

Ami Shafrir: Business

From 1994 to 2000, Ami owned a 50,000 ft. square building at 8670 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills. Back in the ’90s, it was the first building in that area that had a high-speed fibre connection to the Internet. In 1994, he started building ‘WorldSite’ that provided Internet hosting, website programming, and payment processing.

WorldSite was hosting all major Hollywood studios’ websites, including Warner Bros., Paramount and Independence Day (one of the most high-profile Hollywood movies of that time).

Ami’s WorldSite also had a subsidiary called ComBill. This subsidiary was processing payments on the Internet. Cogbill was also known in the circle of Internet operators as the 1st one in the history of the Internet to operate real-time credit card transactions on the Internet. Through the company WorldSite, Ami was working with banks and Los Angeles. He was providing them with online payment systems.

His vision was ahead of its time through his Internet billing platform, ComBill. Ami Shafrir was pitching banks and explaining that Internet banking and billing are the upcoming future. And in the upcoming future, there will be very few physical bank branches and bank tellers. Many bankers laughed at him for his extreme predictions at that time, but today’s reality is known to everyone. Now, almost every individual is dependent on e-commerce and banking on the Internet. At present, the billing industry is worth multi-trillion dollars.

During 2000-2004 due to the Nicherie brothers crimes, Ami Shafrir was dragged into a barrage of litigation and was consumed directly or indirectly with 15 bankruptcies and 130 lawsuits. In all these lawsuits connected to his name, he eventually prevailed. Also, due to his efforts, 3 criminals went to jail. Now he has lost the whole empire that he had created. But he is all set to start all over again.
