What will insurance cover?

Your insurance may provide complete or partial payment for hospice care. Our hospice team will explain your coverage and will bill your insurance directly. We accept Medicare, Medicaid / Medi-Cal, Private Insurance, and Private Pay.

  • Attending Physician / Medical Director: Oversees medical care for patient and family. Works in collaboration with the our Care Team in providing medical assistance.
  • Skilled Nursing: Our nurses provide a range of services, including skilled nursing assessments, wound care and dressing change, injections, catheter care, ostomy care, intravenous fluid/medication management, diabetes mellitus care, vital signs monitoring, and teachings to patients and families concerning safety, medications, diet/nutrition, and disease.
  • Certified Home Health Aide: Our certified nursing assistants provide personal care such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ambulation. Our CHHAs are certified by the state and are highly skilled in providing compassionate care to those in need. They work under the supervision of a registered nurse and are an integral part of our hospice care team. 

Our CHHAs provide a comforting presence and a helping hand to ensure our patients’ needs are met with dignity and respect. They are dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible to ensure that our patients are as comfortable and well-cared for as possible.

  • Medical Social Worker: Our medical social worker helps patients and family members understand and cope with problems caused by illness/injury. Services include assessment of emotional and social factors related to patient and family, evaluation of the home and family environment, counseling and education to maximize strengths and coping skills, guidance with problem-solving interventions, assistance in financial matters, and coordination of community resources.
  • Professional Ancillary Services: We provide a range of professional ancillary services, including infusion medications and supplies, inhalation therapy and supplies, and durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, walkers, hospital beds, etc.
  • Spiritual Counselor / Chaplain: Our spiritual counselor provides non-denominational spiritual support and counseling for patients and their loved ones.
