Sara Wallace is working as Executive Producer at SMUGGLER, London, the United Kingdom overseeing all the creative output for both Europe and Asia. SMUGGLER is a music video, film, theater, and commercial production company. She has been instrumental in developing the company’s best-in-class work and bringing in new talent.
SMUGGLER represents a roster of diverse talent from multiple disciplines. It also includes Academy Award-winning Directors Kathryn Bigelow, Tom Hooper, and Barry Jenkins, along with notable Director Susanne Bier, Otto Bathurst, Jonah Hill, and Lucy Forbes. Last Year, SMUGGLER was Shot’s Production Company of the year. This year it also won the highest accolade at Cannes Lions – the Palme d’Or 2022.
She also worked for Droga5 in New York for 4 years before SMUGGLER. Also, Sara set up her own fashion advertising company before joining SMUGGLER, creating work for Balmain, Julien, McDonald, and Refinery29. Here Sara Wallace produced live events and films.
At Droga5, Sara also produced a music video and lived concert for Beyonce, which was done on behalf of the UN. Also, Michelle Obama attended the performance at General Assembly Hall. This has earned her an MTV VMA nomination and also generated over PS100M in charitable pledges. Recently Sara Wallace has been nominated as Creativepool’s Creative Leader of 2022.
SARA WALLACE – Board Member of Rich Mix
Sara Wallace is also a prominent board member of Rich Mix, a charity Arts Centre in East London. Rich Mix is open to all the East London communities, encouraging them to share and create a culture. Rich Mix also aims to become a community hub for inspiration, learning, and well-being. Sara is highly creative and also professional at her work.
Rich Mix’s recent initiatives include a film program along with free cinema tickets to local school children with the highest propensity of school meal (free) places, children to experience the film as an art form, a profession along with improving mental health & their well-being.
Sara Wallace also produced Guinness “Sapeurs” at AMV BBDO, one of the top 5 most awarded advertising film campaigns worldwide. Since joining SMUGGLER, Sara Wallace has had a hand in bringing on new talent to the roster while further developing an existing best-in-class company and the body of work.
Sara’s Achievements
Sara Wallace has been a jury member for many significant designs and global advertising award shows. Sara also won a plethora of awards across the board. Sara Wallace was a Cannes Lions Film Craft juror in 2021 and on the Lions emerging talent Film Competition Jury for 2022. Sara was also named Pitch Superwoman 2020.
Sara has completed her graduation, BA (Hons.) Graphic Design and Advertising from Buckinghamshire New University. She aided in keeping the charity afloat through the COVID pandemic. Sara Wallace remains focused on helping the charity maintain a strong presence in London’s live music, arts, and film scene.
